Yiavha Faith Plus

This is the second edition of the Intergenerational Storytelling lessons learned document published by the Youth Initiative Against Violence and Human Rights Abuse (YIAHVA). This document is an upgraded version of the first edition, published in November 2020, which documents the lessons learned in the implementation of the Intergenerational Storytelling (IGST) component of the PLURALITI project. In addition to the PLURALITI project, this version also captures the experiences drawn from the implementation of the (IGST) component of the Faith Plus (+) project funded by the Local Action Fund through Peace Direct. Overall, the FAITH PLUS project aimed to “establish a Youth Interfaith Network for the defense of pluralism & non-violent political participation” by increasing the knowledge of young people on interfaith civic education and the balance of state & religion relations. Even though the project was originally designed to be implemented within a period of six months and to occur in 10 communities, targeting schools and out of school young people, due to COVID-19 there was a 3 months extension and the expansion of the project to 10 communities across Jos North, Plateau State, Nigeria.
